I’m Linda Welch, the Creator of Launch My Dreams. In my early work years I managed a variety of non-profit and political organizations, but always had an entrepreneurial yearning. When I decided to become self employed I worked in a variety of businesses (Temp Agencies, Bicycle Messenger, Pizza Delivery and Management, Residential Construction, Organizational Development Consulting to name a few!) to see where I wanted to focus my energy and attention. I chose a career in real estate sales as my first big step into the business world.
After 5 years of working for another broker, I built a real estate company where I discovered that more than selling houses, I loved helping people become successful both in business and their personal lives! I found that success in one seldom occurs without the other. Now when I interview people who want to start or grow their own business, one of my questions is whether they’re willing to do the personal growth work that inevitably comes with being a business owner…because I certainly know a lot about that!
After 13 years owning my real estate company, I decided it was time for me to fully commit to my greatest gifts and I sold my company. It was a huge turning point for me and I know it was the right decision!
